Madeline "Maddie" Gabriel
Madeline Gabriel, the daughter of owner Kristina Batton. In May of 2022, Madeline graduated from dental hygiene school, her life long passion. After working only 4 days at her dream job, she was hospitalized and diagnosed with Leukemia. After a bravely fought battle spanning 25 days, doctors could find barely a sign of Leukemia in her bloodstream. Not a second was spent without the loving care of her mother, family, and friends, but Madeline tragically succumbed to multiple organ failure caused by her illness and passed away on July 26th, 2022. She was only 24 years old.
Mildred Joane "Jo" Batton
Mildred Joane “Jo” Batton. Mildred, together with her husband Robert, raised 8 children together, including owner Philip Batton. From a young age, Philip learned to love food and cooking from his mother, who would cook for her family regularly. Sadly, Mildred Batton passed away from cancer on June 8th, 2013, at the age of 77. Philip hopes to continue her legacy by sharing some of his favorite meals he learned from his mother, including fried chicken and potato salad, two of her specialties.
